About us

Helping Each Other can Make World Better

WAVA is a coalition of women-focused civil society organizations in Nigeria working to increase access to immunizations, improve uptake of vaccination services, and advocate for sustainable financing of immunization programs. Registered in 2016, WAVA has over 50 members across the six geo-political zones of the country.

Vision

We envision a world where individuals irrespective of their gender, creed, value or physical attributes have unhindered access to the vaccines required for their well-being.

Mission

To support sustainable health systems where individuals have unfettered access to vaccines of their needs irrespective of their socio-economic status.
